Nils' mother Elsa was 40 years old when Nils was born and Nils' father Ola was 47 years old. Nils Olsson was only 3 years old when his mother died. Ola Larsson did not remarry. Nils Olsson had two sisters and one brother, Cecilia born Nov. 25 1829 and Marie born 1835 but she died 1846, the brother Johannes was born 1825. Johannes was a soldier and he changed his name to Lundqvist and moved away from home in 1845.
1847-1851 Nils lives together with his father. Maria died April 24 1846 and Cecilia married 1851 and she stayed in Rydhus yard, Klövered, but 1855 Cecilia and her husband and two children moved away. Ola Larsson stayed living in Rydhus. Nils married Bothilda Månsdotter in February of 1862, they have a child, Olof Nilsson in 1864. Nils dies June 7, 1870 miserably poor.
Nils Olsson was a crofter (or tennant farmer) living in Åby nr 2. Nils was father of Olof Nilsson who was father of my grandfather, Valentin clarens Nilsson.
