Elizabeth Hobbie was born in Robeson County, North Carolina in 1802. Elizabeth married Bryant Walters (or Briant Walter) around 1822 in Robeson County. A John Hobby (between 60 and 70 years old) is listed as a close neighbor of Bryant Walters in Robeson Co. in the 1830 Census. So, John Hobby could be Elizabeth's father.
Elizabeth's daughter, Emily Elizabeth Walters was born 28 July 1826.
Elizabeth Hobbie along with husband Bryant and his brother James and sister Ellenora moved to Montgomery County, Alabama around 1832. There they aparently were planters. Bryant is listed in the Archives as buying and selling land there many times between 1832 and 1848.
Elizabeth died sometime after 1850.
